Message I'm assuming you mean zinc additives? I've heard zinc is very good for turbo seal protection, but does it protect against thermal coking after shutdown though?

I'd just hate to have to cool down for 30 min after each hard run, 3-4 mins is impractical enough :)

Cats and O2 sens wear won't be an issue compared to turbo protection, but will the zddp additives protect against oil burns on the seals/shaft after shutting down? I'm sure it protects better while oil is flowing, but if you have a hot shutdown, do additives really matter?

I really appreciate your input and help so far, you and another member on here have provided me with a wealth of good information, and I could never thank you guys enough for that!
